About our Organization
Since our very first inclusive program in 1987, World T.E.A.M. creates challenging outdoor programs that bring together adaptive and able-bodied athletes. We empower, enable and engage lives through sports as diverse as bicycling, mountain climbing, white water rafting, sea kayaking and more.
Participant fundraising and corporate donations, grants and sponsor support provide funding for our organization and our programs. Our corporate Financial Documents page offers detailed financial information about our organization, including IRS Form 990s for most years since 1994 and several past annual reviews.
In 2017, approximately 89 percent of all incoming financial support was applied directly to cover the costs of our programs and our participating athletes. Face of America is our organization’s largest and best-known program, helping support other programs from World T.E.A.M.
Chartered as a national 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization in 1993, the organization is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, with financial offices in Holbrook, New York.
